STAGERAGE PRODUCTION TOOLS
Timecode Manager
Use a deterministic browser timecode reference clock today, with LTC/MTC, private Timecode Rooms and native routes released only after their separate compatibility and security gates pass.
- Rational frame-rate arithmetic keeps the browser reference clock deterministic
- LTC/MTC output is not enabled in the current public release; it remains behind codec, browser and device verification
- Private Timecode Rooms and native hardware adapters are not public content and remain unavailable until their release gates pass
Frequently asked questions
- What is Timecode Manager?
- Timecode Manager is a signed-in StageRage tool. The current release provides a deterministic browser reference clock; LTC/MTC, private room and native-routing workflows are enabled only after their separate release checks pass.
- Can I generate LTC from a browser or phone?
- Not in the current public release. Browser LTC output will require an operator-initiated audio start and verified browser/device support. A phone or browser is never a guaranteed lock-screen or background source; use dedicated hardware for uninterrupted programme-critical output.
- Does StageRage send my timecode or show traffic to its servers?
- The current browser reference clock stays on the operator device. Private Timecode Rooms are not released; their final public wording will name the authenticated control, signalling and any relay service before release.
- What is a Timecode Room?
- A Timecode Room is a planned private, authenticated session for approved desktop and mobile source/display workflows. It is not a public page or public room-code system, and is unavailable until its security and reconnect tests pass.
- Do I need Timecode Bridge?
- No for the current browser reference clock. The optional Timecode Bridge is not released yet; it will be required only for native or LAN adapters that have passed adapter-specific compatibility testing.
- Which frame rates are supported?
- The released browser clock supports 24 NDF, 25 NDF, 29.97 NDF, 29.97 DF and 30 NDF. 29.97 DF is labelled explicitly as 30000/1001; it is not presented as an ambiguous “30 DF” mode.
- Is Timecode Manager free?
- Access and pricing for future LTC, Room and Bridge workflows have not been announced. Do not treat the current reference-clock preview as a promise of access, pricing or hardware-adapter availability.
